Just so fed up 😩

Hi all 👋 I'm just so fed up with the pain!!! It normally gets a bit better after I've had my injection but this time it's just getting worse and with no end in sight!

Does anyone else get right sided pain that feels like a mass inside them, it hurts to sit stand and even wakes me when I'm asleep (when I eventually get to sleep) I'm back on the Morphine but even that doesn't always help, I'm not looking for anything just needed to vent a little! The hospital are useless and to top it off I had a phone consultation with a gp who said so what are u hoping for from this conversation 🤯🤬 which I said NOT to be in pain anymore! But cos I power through being at work I must not be in that much pain wtf!! Life is so shit sometimes but we all just keep going cos we dont have any other choice!!

hi hun how's u doing? I'm sorry to hear that ur suffering 🙁 I understand what you're feeling sweetie, I can't work anymore due to pain and blood loss. I have no faith in the NHS anymore. I can only give you the information I have from experience, I'm on morphine patches, pregabalin and I'm supposed to use dihydrocodeine for breakthrough pain (I avoid taking when I can) and I smoke cannabis for pain (it's fast and effective) , after a few drags I'm comfortable. Hi dodgeviperdiva,Thanku for ur message, I've had to just start taking liquid Morphine again as I just dont seem to be coping well with the pains! I was doing ok and just thought it was down to my injection coming up again, but its not improved 😔 if anything it's getting worse! I'm just glad I've got the summer hols off so dont having to cope with work too! I was given diclofenac sodium but I've not taken any as I dont really want too! It just seems like they just want to give u more pills! I just wish they would hurry up and give me a date 😫 are u waiting for any sort of surgery? What have they done for u so far? Xx

hi hun how's u doing today? I'm so sorry that seems to be all they are offering u, I understand not wanting to be pumped with unnecessary drugs, I've had 4 laparoscopic surgery as well as pain clinic, physio therapy the works, unfortunately I'm too young 😂 for a hysterectomy? although I'm 37 with 3 beautiful children and my tubes tied! 😂 ok then. the only option I now have left is pain management and that only goes so far 😕 but I have come to understand my reality and I've picked up little tricks that help me to cope with the depression and hopelessness of expecting to be pain free, I'm lucky enough to see that I neva asked for this but I'm blessed and I try to remember that when I feel like giving up xxxx

Hi lovely how are you doing?I use to get pain when I sat down and couldn’t sit down for long it was excruciating. Now I have the decepeptyl injections and they seem to make a difference. Am I right in saying you are on this injection? I still get right hand sided pain. It sucks. Please PM if you need a chat x

Hi AllthatGlittees, I've been better! How are u getting on? Yes I am, normally after I have the injection the pain sort of settles down a bit, but this time it just seems to be getting worse! It's crazy I've got the fan on and a heat pack 😂 the up side is at least I'm not at work over the summer hols so dont have to go through this and work! I'm going to try and call the hospital tomorrow and see if they have the results of my bone density scan as I've still not heard anything (surprise, surprise!! Us chasing again 😡) have u heard anything else? How are u getting on with the injection and HRT? It's nice to hear from u too xx

Hi sorry you feel rubbish. I have been in hospital again as my bloods are low so been on IV iron and phosphate and potassium, this is my 3rd admission in a month. Things don’t get better do they. As for my HRT what a difference, I do feel better on it but want off of the decepeptyl as soon as I can, It makes me bloated even more than before. Hope you get your results soon and you shouldn’t have to chase them up, I have started to think that we need to start pushing for answers and that is what I am doing at the moment.
