1st lap tomorrow! Any tips?

Hi everyone, I’ve got my first laparoscopy tomorrow and I’m nervous - mostly that they don’t find anything but also nervous if they do too! Does anyone have any last minute tips or advice? E.g things to take with me to hospital, things to ask when I’m there? I’ve not had a pre-op and when I had my consultation in April they just gave me a leaflet and said they’d look everywhere, and that there wasn’t any point discussing the ins and outs of endo until they’d checked if I’d had it or not. So I don’t really know what to expect either! Thanks in advance x

The day itself goes quickly, they took me to a ward, got changed into a gown, did a urine sample and sat and waited. Got taken into a room and put under, woke up after the procedure felt drowsy, had to wait 2 hours, had some toast and was checked out. The next few days the incision sites were sore and stitches felt tight. the bloating is uncomfortable, I found peppermint tea helped. I also got neck and shoulder pain which apparently is a common occurrence after an anesthetic. Good luck you will be fine xx
