Hi Happyseal,I didn’t realise I had so many symptoms until I missed a couple of periods, I was 44 when periods skipped but had anxiety and sleepless nights, they started when my period was due but when it started I went at sleeping al night that got worse over a year til it was every night I would also be sensitive and cry very easy. Night sweats also started but wasn’t sure if that was due to having another condition. That also change over the last six months. I did have blood tests but they were normal. But found out that your hormones can fluctuate daily and by the hour. I brought a book called Menopause by Haynes, dr Louise Newson. Which I have found very useful. I also joined Facebook groups. I waited until I was 45 then went back to doctors and asked for HRT. Which I know isn’t for everyone but I needed to sleep and feel myself as I was struggling mentally.
