Hi everyone ! I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis, I had the laparoscopy last week so I am still recovering. It has honestly been the most emotional week of my life having been trying to convince the doctors something was wrong for almost 10 years!

Happy to have the diagnosis finally so u can move forward and target the issue correctly but jeese it has been a battle.

If anyone has had or is having the same battle with doctors stay strong!

I feel the exact same! I had my Laparoscopy 2 weeks ago & was finally diagnosed after years of pain with no answers. I’ve been so emotional since too….it’s quiet insane been ignored for so long to finally get answers!!

How are you feeling ? I'm struggling to pull myself together, and although my husband is EXTREMELY supportive he doesn't understand that my body just can't bounce back ( food shopping ect). Also we're you given any further info, I was just told you have it and we have burnt it off and then basically bye .....

Nope I wasn’t given any info what so ever, I was told That they found it & that it had stuck some things down. I was told a follow up appointment will be posted out to me.

I struggled to pull myself together for the first week, but I returned back to work this week so had no choice but to tbh. I’m so in a fair amount of pain though & absolutely exhausted! Xx

Jesus! Crazy that they don't give you all the info at once, its like they want to prolong our suffering. Gosh, im so sorry your back at work already. I hope you get more answers soon! Xx

It’s crazy isn’t it, I wish I came out knowing more. I’m hoping a follow up appointment comes soon so I can finally know what’s gonna happen next! Hope you get some more answers soon too, take it easy! Xx

Hya Libby , glad you got your diagnosis and are feeling better ? I’m just reading through some threads . I’ve been suffering with all the endo symptoms for years . Iv had scans / endoscopys for various parts of body . Internal ultrasound. All the checks for everything else basically. But never been referred for a laparoscopy. Now the doctors have finally said it’s most likely endometriosis , but to try taking the pill first to see if it helps . I’m just getting worse and worse so willing to try anything. I’m just wondering if you had tried the pill before having a laparoscopy ? X
