I have a laparoscopy booked next week to look for endometriosis, which my consultant thinks may be linked to my interstitial cystitis symptoms- does anyone else have this? Do you have any advice on how to manage it?
I had my mirena coil removed for the surgery at the surgeons request and now my bladder seems to be really flaring up as a result.
Thanks

Hi, it might be worth seeing if certain foods aggravate your bladder. I found caffeine, alcohol and very acidic foods like orange juice make it worse. I also follow an anti-inflammatory diet which helps, I can send you a link. Homeopathy helped me too. Good luck.
Hi, I have no advice, just wanted to say I have IC symptoms as well. Pelvic pain/burning in my pelvis plus burning deep in my vagina and urethra and going to pee often. So far urine test, swabs and pelvic ultrasound all clear. Waiting to see a gyne in 4 weeks. I had endo removed 18 years ago but my only symptom then was constant pelvic pain.
