What is Metastatic Endomitriosis

I have recently been diagnosed with Endomitriosis in March but was recently taken ill my GP contacted the hospital for them to see me and also printed off a cover note and some information for me to take along to the hospital. In the notes it states I have Endomitriosis and gynaecologist thinks I may have metastatic Endomitriosis. All this is new to me and I have contacted my GP to find out what it means by metastatic Endomitriosis but I am told I have to wait two weeks to speak to my doctor but I have such bad anxiety due to the endo and redeem them been so fed up. Could anyone tell me the meaning of metastatic Endomitriosis please?

Metastatic itself means a disease that has moved to different areas.
