Anybody had a hydrosalpinx mine is measuring at 30mm & due to see gynaecologist on the 16th June.
I also have two ovarian cysts & suspected endometriosis but they want to perform a laparoscopy to be sure.
I am getting severe pain in lower abdomen and lower back pain that feels like contractions.
Anybody had this & if so what do they usually do? I have only one child & dont plan on anymore. Worried they will remove my tubes as i do not want to have an early menopause

Hi sorry to hear your in so much pain. The doctors won’t remove your ovaries unless you say you want them gone ( but if there’s complications and they cannot save them then they might have to - I’d say this is unlikely). For the pain, I take dihydrocodeine and use plenty of heat (hot water bottles, wheat teddies).
Thank you dear for replying to me, it means alot. Yeah they said they may have to remove it as its a severe hydrosalpinx its measuring rather big 🤦🏻♀️
I have requested some naproxen so hoping that will help with the pain. I will also ask to try the medication you have said & hopefully i get pain relief.
Be careful with naproxen, I ended up with a bad stomach after asking that. Once you go under you’ll be waking up before you know it, it’s a little disorientating but you’ll be on lots of pain relief and can request more if you need it. If it’s keyhole surgery you’re having, make sure you have plenty of peppermint tea and anti wind tablets for the trapped gas as that can be more painful than the surgery itself
