Op date

Just for anyone waiting on an op date, I was originally due to have mine end of jan beginning of Feb and had a call Friday just gone to say my operation is this Friday! So the lists are moving again (Mine is in Liverpool) xxx

How long did you wait from getting referred for Lap ??? Good luckI am in the beginning of my endo journey... doctor suspects it, had a ultrasound which showed nothing so waiting for a further abdo scan and then i hope to be refered to the endo clinic at the womens. Whats the experience there?????

Thankyou! I had gone to the GP so many times with UTI symptoms etc and after years of being fobbed off finally got referred for ultrasound which found large endometrioma inside my ovary, so I got referred after they found that (October) then got my first app in the woman’s Christmas Eve so about 2 month wait, then I was told my op would be the latest beginning of feb but another lockdown happened, so I’ve waited 5 months ish, but I know I’ve been lucky as people wait a lot longer! I really hope you get your app soon, best advice I can give you is to honestly keep badgering your GP, the more you keep going they will have to refer you! I feel really angry that my fertility is at risk because I was too shy to go back and would just deal with pain months at a time, you know your body better than anyone, so keep pushing! The women’s is amazing! Staff are all great and care, very different from GP experience! xxxx

Thanks I will do, once ive had my next scan imm be right back wantong a referall for endo clinic. I have noted my symptoms and they are the same every month since removal of inplant but it seems linked to bowel endo. These nothing else can be as no concerns with poop sample or bloods.Good luck x

Same here! After a year delay I had my pre op and then a suprise phone call the next day,, mines tomorrow 😱😜 , good luck for yours hope you have a speedy recovery x
