Glow period tracker

Hi! I've been using Glow on Android for about 5/6 months now and it's been invaluable in helping me give information about my symptoms to the gynecologist. I wanted to share it with you all so it may help someone else. I'm not working for them or anything like that, just absolutely love it and I know it could help other ladies like me who feel lost with tracking their symptoms.

Glow is free on Android, but the premium version allows for way more features, like charts that you can print out and personalised insights about your cycle. I have premium and I never ever buy apps! I find making a paper pain diary really difficult and I never keep up to it, but I've not missed a day with this app. It's really helped me see how my symptoms peak and drop, what things trigger them and even to know what weeks may be bad for me!

The insights warn you if you have symptoms of endometriosis and other conditions like PMS and PCOS. So if you're undiagnosed and you're getting these insights you'll be able to show your GP like I did :) it really helped me to give them it in black and white.

It works with Samsung health and Samsung smart watches, it monitors every aspect of your health including sleep, alcohol, exercise, sex, weight, medication, mood and notes you can write yourself. Plus handy features if you're trying to get pregnant/avoid pregnancy. This can be good for seeing symptoms that doctors might not ask about, like insomnia or lack of sleep in general, being off your food or having to increase meds. It can also be helpful to see if things like sex trigger flares during windows where usually pain wouldn't occur. This is how I noticed that I would have pain when not ovulating or on my period, but usually I had had sex the night before. Never connected the two before!

I honestly can't rave about it enough! I've tried so many apps and never found one this helpful, it really goes in depth with your health and is incredibly user friendly. Not overly girly either, it is very sophisticated looking and the print outs of charts are very professional! My GP was thrilled, much easier than sitting and explaining each symptom...when it happens...how bad it is...blah blah lol it's all colour coded in the chart :)

Hope it helps someone else as much as it's helped me!

That looks so cool and in depth! I remember years ago you put in dates and it would estimate your next period they have come a long way lol. I want to track my pains and my moods ect would this still be useful even though i am on the nexplanon? Glad it helped you!

I've not heard of that one, I've tried Clue and another one that was literally called period tracker lol but I wanted something a bit less girly and childish. Clue was good but didn't have the charts xxx

That’s really cool. Wish I had that when I was trying to conceive. 😎 I’m using the Phendo app to track endo. Part of a research study too.
