Hi everyone

Not been on here for a while I had my appointment with Endo doctor he was brilliant he actually listened didn’t rush or talk over me it was such a relief !

I am being booked in to have scans to see if they can tell if my Endo has progressed onto my bowels and bladder if they can’t see it will have to be another Lap.

I’ve been having bowel problems nearly all my adult life (39 now ) it’s always been put down to IBS but not so sure now as it’s changed in last year and half I have developed constipation and now have a terrible fissure that just won’t heal 😢

Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any tips to help it heal I’ve literally had enough of being in pain going to loo. Been to gastro and next step is sedation and Botox injection in it to relax the area to give it time to heal not loving this idea had fissures before and they have always healed by them self but this is a chronic year long one so not looking likely !

I’m pretty sure Endo has gone to my bowel causing flare ups of D chronic stomach pain bad C and tbh it’s making me think I won’t be able to go away with my family on holidays.

Sorry to ramble on if you have stuck through all that thank you hope everyone is doing ok xx

I have a very similar situation, I'm sorry to hear you're going through it too! I'm waiting for a Lap for suspected Bowel Endo and having a persistent fissure to add on top of the already horrid pain is terrible, so I can understand that.My fissures used to heal but the current one is going on 11ish months. Going to the loo is never a pleasant experience these days! I'm finally biting the bullet and mentioning it to my doctor soon so I'm hoping to get some advice and info. I've always been too embarrassed but... I'm too tired to be now 😓 Sorry I can't give advice myself, but if anything comes from it I'll try and share it here. I really wish you the best with you situation xx
