I am currently suffering with extremely painful period pains which I'm quite positive could be endo as it runs through the family. like quite a few of you I am still waiting for an appointment from my referral for gyne. But I recently brought a tens machine as I saw that can be quite helpful does it matter what tens machine as I got one from lloyds pharmacy but I'm guessing they all do the same thing?
I am really struggling at the moment is there any advice with how to deal with pain, and referral wise is it worth going private then waiting for the Nhs as I have been waiting since feb 2020 (over a year) I know I'm only 18 so I probably won't be classed as urgent so I feel like I'll be waiting another year before i get some kind of acknowledgment.

Sorry to hear you are waiting so long for help. Your GP should be able to help you with pain medication, definitely go back to them if what you have is not working. You should certainly remind them you are still waiting and still in pain.
Hope you get an appointment soon.
I haven’t gone the private referral route but I know some people here have, and found it helpful.
Yes I have kept on them I seem to getting somewhere I am waiting for an ultrasound (internal) because I had a abdominal which didn't do very much and have now got an appointment with a gynecologist via telephone which is a start but thank you for your advice!x
