Not been seen by a doctor for a year

Sooo I have had these bigger symptoms going on for almost a year now and I haven't been seen by anyone except the woman who did my ultrasound scan (that showed nothing) . I was on the phone to 111 because I was in so much pain and put through to a consultant (I think) and she was beyond shocked that I haven't an abdomen/pelvis exam by my doctor despite them knowing all my symptoms. I have a referral phone call (another phone call 😒) with a gynaecologist in May but should I go back to my gp and ask for an exam while I wait?

I get anxious about annoying or bothering people and thats why its taken forever to get anywhere and I know that is so stupid of me! But I feel like thats how we're all made to feel.

That's awful, my GP always does urgent referral for ultrasound when I call her about the pain and bleeding. I now have scans every 3 months, due my lap next week so hoping there won't be such a need for them. Def ring your GP and ask for a pelvic ultrasound. Your not bothering anyone, don't let them leave you suffering xx
