Hello everyone I’m new to the page I’m just looking for a little support as I’m really struggling at the moment, I got diagnosed with endometriosis back in august 2020 after fighting for 5 years with the gynaecologists... 8 months later and I’m back to square one I’m in absolute agony but my gynaecologists at my hospital aren’t willing to help me much further other than trying to put me on the combined pill what are peoples thoughts? I can’t bare the pain

In their decision tree (nice guidelines), they will offer hormonal treatment as one of the first options.

Please do go back and tell them this isn't addressing the pain.

You can ask for an ultrasound scan to check for endometriomas.

You can also ask to be considered for a diagnostic laparoscopy & treatment for endo - with a surgeon who specialises in endometriosis. This would let them see the extent of the endometriosis and help to make a plan to treat it.
