Where to look to find an excision specialist

Hello! Hope everyone’s well.

This might be a bit of a random and stupid question but I don’t really know that much about endometriosis yet since I don’t have my diagnosis for too long and know it’s not allowed to name doctors and treatment centres on here, but I’m a bit overwhelmed with finding an excision specialist in the UK because I just moved here a few months ago. Where exactly do I have to look on the internet or elsewhere to see if someone performs ablation or excision surgery? I don’t want ablation surgery, that is clear. Is there some kind of list with UK excision specialists?

Best to check the following website: bsge.org.uk/centre/

From there you will see the gynaecologists that specialise in endometriosis.

I would then check their reviews on the following website:

Iwantgreatcare.org

Doctify

Gooddoctor.com

Topdoctors.co.uk

I wouldn't assume their good unless you find reviews.

If you don't have a bsge centre nearby then check the above websites for gynaecologists by area. Then read their profiles to see who specialises in endo. When you contact their private secretary you can ask them to check if they excise and have experience of dealing with bowel endo etc.
