Hi, Its been ages since I posted on this site as I've had no real signs of my endo for years other than around my period. Then out of the blue a month ago I woke up with a severe pain in my right side that winded me to the point of taking pain killers and my hot water bottle. The pain disappeared and I thought no more about it then Monday I had the most sever pain on the same side but this time it was around my pelvic area and down my leg. It felt as though someone was twisting a nerve. It was excruciating. That took laying down for two hours and double the pain relief to calm down.
I thought I was out of the woods but the same pain was back as soon as I got up.
Now touch wood that was Tuesday, and apart from a dull ache I've been fine. However now I have the anxiety that it may just start again out of the blue when I'm unprepared. Luckily I'm working from home at the moment but I'm filled with anxiety that it may come back when I'm not home.
Sorry to go on but has anyone else experienced and sudden reappearance of their symptoms. I'm 44 now and was 30 when I was diagnosed.

Hi lam new here. lam sorry to hear that you are in pain. Unfortunately I couldn't answer your question but would like to ask you if it's possible how did you manage almost not to have any sings of your endo for ages? Did you have any surgery? Usually what other ladies experience is around 2/3 years if you are lucky. Iam so confused. Thanks
Hi Rozalya. I had surgery about 14 years ago. At first my pain was just around my period, then that became too much so I stayed on the pill for 5 years. Since then I only ever got signs around my period. However every now and again between periods the pain was terrible. But that hasn't happened for years until recently. To be honest I really don't know why.I wish my body would give me some answers😏. This can be a very lonely condition that no one really understands even us that are dealing with it.
My GP send me on ultrasound and she told me that l have endometriosis and olso polip inside the uterine and pelvic adhesions . She send me straight away for surgery for the polip to be removed to be sure is not cancer. (10.08.20)
The good thing was that it wasn't cancer but unfortunately my body didn't react well after that. I suppose to see the surgeon after 3 weeks instead they changed to tell appointment with sambody else which neva happened finally my GP managed to make me appointment after 3 months suppose to be the same doctor but unfortunately was same lady which only read the notes on the computer not even bother to do any examination just prescribed me painkillers and wrote to my GP if that not helps then l could try mirena coil and after if not help send after 1year for ultrasound.
My GP managed to send me for ultrasound is seem that lam now mach worst. I have cist on my right ovary which make sense as l started to have constant right pain and my period start to get messed up . Now GP return me back to them.
Its seems nothing is helps and lam completely confused. Onse again thanks and l hope you will be fine and your endo are not back
