Hi all, hope you are all well. I'm new to this group, so please be understanding
For the couple of years I experience pain during period- but for the last around 2 years it's really bad, painkillers will help just for a little bit- I'm taking now around 8 during day. Pain is that bad that I fell sick and faint, cannot move and stand straight- is it something that endometriosis would do? Dont really know where to start.
Many thanks for any help!

The Endometriosis UK site has invaluable info, including advice for consultation with GP and gynae, and a template for symptoms diary.
I was diagnosed Dec 19 after a year of going back and forth to GP. I did pay to see a gynae as it gave me a fresh start. He diagnosed endo and confirmed with lap.
Tell your GP you want a referral to a gynae with experience of endo.
I’ve had issues with standing, sitting bending and can’t sit upright (recliner ok) or stand without abdomen feeling shaky, pain and nausea.
Diet can play a part, taking out dairy and gluten, didn’t do much for me.
It’s really important to go through it with your GP, and rule out anything else including uti.
I find the best way is to use the econsult on surgery website, my surgery insists on it these days. It allows you to write down all your symptoms and they have it in writing, harder to ignore and normally a much better response. Not sure what painkillers you are on, if they aren’t working there are others.
