I’m new here, diagnosed only a few month back but I am noticing on this forum that just about everyone has been offered some form of treatment. I’m based in the UK and was offered some paracetamol for the pain and told that they wouldn’t want to do surgery just yet... all in all was a 15min phone conversation about 2 weeks after the scans (due to COVID) and since then (Oct) no further contact.
I keep a close eye on everything and things are always changing but I haven’t been told to keep in touch with my docs or anything? Haven’t been referred to a specialist either.. Should I change doctors?
Thanks!

I’d definitely chase them up. The only way they can officially diagnose is with a laparoscopy with a gynaecologist. The GP should usually do a history, refer for ultrasounds and then considers the gynaecologist referral. You’ll then have a consultation before they agree/give another option etc for the laparoscopy depending on their medical decision. Does that make sense? You can also ask your GP to send you a copy of the letter from your appointment and or ultrasound results. I found this helpful as then had the info to push and keep questioning things. Waiting lists are long atm but always worth calling and confirming you’re on them if you think you are!
