Tender armpits on Zoladex

Random question - has anyone experienced tender armpits on zoladex? It feels similar to the tenderness you might get around your period, but obviously not having periods at the moment. Just wondered if anyone had had the same, or whether I should be worried!

Thanks

Georgie

Hiya,

I don't have any experience with this but when a friend of mine was breastfeeding her babies, she always got tenderness in her armpits & her midwife told her it was because she had breast tissue that had migrated there, & it was responding to the hormonal changes.

Just a thought, perhaps ask your consultant if they've ever heard of this?

Xx

Hi! Yes I had this, after my first zoladex injection. It's gone now but took a couple of weeks to go. I wonder if it will happen again after my 2nd injection. :)

Iv never really had any issues with the zoladex injection as of yet. This is now my 2nd time having it after 2 years ago. They only like to give you the injection once a month for 6months due to the risks

Thanks so much everyone! It went after two days and seemed to be in line with increase in other side effects so just going to monitor it!
