Coming off prostap
Hi Beth, I’ve been off it for 3 months nearly. I haven’t had nerve problems, my severe pain and stiffness from the injection have eased but my Endo pain is back with a vengeance and already been to a&e once. They’ve put me on tramadol. It’s stopped me from needing to go back to a&e this far but no where near stopped the pain. Have you spoken to your specialist?
I don’t have a specialist, the gp and gyny are writing letters to each other and I can’t get an appointment because of Covid! It’s terrible here xx
I feel for you, I’ve been in agony everyday this month and they’re only suggestion is to go back on the Prostrap injection. That isn’t a long term solution when I’m supposed to be having ivf soon. I’ve tried getting an appointment with my gynaecologist that I was seing before and nothing yet either. It gets to a point where you just feel ignored doesn’t it!
I hope you get an appointment soon hun x
Hi Beth - I came off Prostap one month ago and last night I had intense pain in my lower left hand side radiating down into my left leg. I went to the walk-in-centre toady and they said it is sciatica. Did you have any other symptoms when coming off Prostap? Also did you ever take/ continue to take HRT?
