Anyone experience fatigue as a symptom of endometriosis? It’s really starting to get me down, so would love to hear if anyone has found anything that can help, supplements, diet, exercises etc?

Hello!! I am struggling really bad with energy and any kind of get up and go! I do find taking a multivitamin at bedtime helps give me a boost for a little while the next day. I’m on provera which did give me a real energy boost in the early days but now feel back to square one so maybe need a higher dose. Other than these nothing really changes my fatigue. I would give a decent multivitamin a go though. I take mine as I get into bed as I find they can make me feel a bit sick If I take them in the day time.

Hello I experience fatigue with endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibromyalgia. I sleep a lot and never feel rested either. I take all of my medication, multi vitamins, eat good food and exercise. I wish there was a magic pill for this to make us all feel better. I would say my fatigue feels worse as in my body aches during the winter months and it eases off in the summer months. I will watch your post to see if any other good suggestions can be given as I would try anything lol.Hope you are having a good day xx

Yes. Taking a multitude of vitamins and minerals in the hope that it would boost me but it hasn't. So I'm taking a high spec multi vitamin, B12, iron tablets and also drinking yakult as well. I don't think there's a fix for this unfortunately but you have to manage it, so plan for recovery if you're spending the day out somewhere and if it helps, power naps during the day.

Thanks Em, power naps are a very good point, I sometimes feel guilty for needing to nap, but it's important to listen to what your body needs. Hope you are doing okay atm x

Fatigue is my main symptom with stage 4 endo. Went to see endocronologist...and bottom line was that i was very low in iron, vit d, b1 b6 b12. Once i changed my diet froma veggie to introducing back meat and started supplementing i am back to normal 90% of the month. Worth checking your thyroid as well

Thanks for sharing this :) I also take Iron and Vitamin D supplements, but don't feel much of a difference as a result. I will look into the other B ones too. Really good to hear that you've has a positive result from reintroducing meat, I don't eat meat either, but do get a lot of protein from fish and other foods x

Sadly supplements cannot replace real food and is important to get your mineral and vitamins from real food as much as you can. I only felt the real difference when i went back on the meat. And if you search the more nutrition dense food out there ie liver. Hope it helps and I understand and respect you chooise of not eating meat but just wanted to share my experience as was a veggie myself for over 3 years.

This sounds like me!! Am on every vitamin going and there still days I come home from work, sit on sofa for 10mins b4 making dinner n I can be found asleep there an hour later! Comes over me so quickly at times it scares me!About a year and half ago I started going to a chiropractor who happened to have an interest in fertility as well.. It helped massively with my fatigue... Overall I just felt better in myself.. However after a chemical in Dec and all the ivf medication I feel back to square one again... Started my meds yesterday again awaiting scan now on 15th to see if can go ahead with 2nd fet this month... But its so stressful thinking about travelling overseas, moving through airports, stupid covid test and missing work for weeks to self isolate.. I think at min my brain is overthinking everything and sleep just doesn't come naturally at night anymore which is prob why feeling so wrecked after work.

Do your best to get out for some air and a decent walk.. But at same time ur body needs this rest so don't fight it too much. Def get your iron and thyroid checked as well.. Mine varies so much they can't decide whether or not to put me on thyroid med

It comes over me exactly the same, one second I feel okay and then I'm gone! That's helpful to know that chiropractor can help, I will look into this :) Sending you lots of well wishes for your fertility journey xxx

Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️ I can relate to this.

I am having iron and vitamin D and other vitamins. I have endometriosis & Fibroid. Having Prostap injections. Suffering with migraines. Body aching and pelvis pain. Every day is another stressful day to deal with. Most of the time I feel so shattered and I have to take a nap. Take painkillers. Hot water bottle. Pls don’t feel you are alone 💖 x

Hi there, I would suggest taking ‘Ginseng, Ginko and Guarana’ from Boots - I find it helps with energy x
