I’ve had my first consultation with my gynaecologist and she has put me on the waiting list for a laparoscopy. She has said it’s a long wait, which is understandable given everything that’s going on at the moment and the pressure on the NHS.
She has recommended that I have the injection, whilst on the waiting list, to see if this reduces my symptoms. I was put on the mini pill last year to try and reduce symptoms and had a bad reaction to it. I told her and she said that there’s a possibility I may react in the same way to the injection but still recommended I try it..
Is anyone having/has had the injection? Did you have any side effects?
Thanks x

If it’s Zoladex I didn’t have any side effects, but didn’t do much for the pain. With these things it can just be a case of trying as we’ll all react differently.
I hope it’s not too long a wait and you can get some relief
Hi there I am currently on the depo provera injection. They put me on it just incase I had endometriosis but now it’s confirmed I have it. For me it hasn’t relieved any of my symptoms or my pain. But different treatments work differently for everyone. Like I haven’t seen or felt any side effect from it.
