Dienogest is the name of the drug and the UK trade name is Zalkya distributed by Stragen UK Ltd. It is now classified in the NICE bnf and was launched in the UK in February. Whether or not it is available will depend on whether the local Area Prescribing Committee has yet approved it to go in their formulary. We have several on it (eg in some London boroughs). If wanting to try it ask your GP to ask your APC if it is available.
