Endometriosis never-ending pain.

This is my first post. But I feel your pain. I am fed up. I don't know how I'm going to be from one minute to the next. I can't plan anything, the pain has got increasingly worse, the exhaustion strikes at any time it's uncomfortable to lie down, sit stand and sleep - it's debilitating. I was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis a couple of weeks before a planned hysterectomy but to help shrink my fibroids which I have too I now have had two menopause injections. I was told that I should not be feeling like this. I have suffered with gynea problems for 38 years. I was given tremadol for pain and have had to go to AnE for increased pain relief - Oramorph because the pain has been so bad. I have been told that the only way out of all this is a hysterectomy, which I'm dreading. More pain

Hi hun I’m exactly the same however I’m 26 and been like this 11 years, still waiting to be diagnosed unfortunately but I’m sure that there isn’t any cure for endometriosis however a hysterectomy is ment to help with adenomyosis hope this helps all the best xx

Have you got yourself an endo specialist? Don’t waste your time with clueless gynaes but find your nearest specialist. Hopefully they can help 🤞 it’s awful how rubbish we are treated by the NHS ‘oh you look ok so you must be!’ I’ve heard it all. Sometimes female staff at drs are worse too!! I wish for all my doubters to have my pain for just a day and they will soon change their tune!! xx

I’m sorry you are suffering so much ☹️ I had years of trouble until I was fortunate to find an endo specialist who also happens to be a straight talking women which was completely refreshing. They are out there and often do work privately. Times are hard but a private consultation might help you. If you DM me I will certainly share my recommendation with you. Have you been offered Prostap? Many ladies have had difficult experiences with it but for me it was a god send. Gave me 2 full years of pain and period free living. Worth considering x
