Hi guys so I had a lap on the 12th and the last few days have been getting worse pain wise, pain in the whole of back and upper abdominal and where the removal of a mass was taken ( expecting that one) and also today my belly button feels like someone is squeezing it really hard to the point I threw up... I had an awful passing of poop tmi sorry the other day and was I agony.. I know I’m older and recovery isn’t as quick anymore but the pain is everyday all day I feel so ill, now I’m throwing up with belly button pain too. Any advice?

So sorry you're suffering so much. Do you think you should go to A&E incase you've got an infection or at least you give you peace of mind?
Being constipated isn't good - I hadn't taken any precautions either and struggled so if I were to go through this again, I'd def start taking Lactulose early on to avoid that discomfort. I
'm 4.5 weeks in and getting better slowly - I still have sharp pains but I'm hoping they're temporary. We're not given enough information about the internal healing process imo!
I’d agree in getting medical advice and ruling out anything like infection.
I got constipated after lap and was prescribed Laxido. Out of hours GP happened to be a gynaecologist as well, I was lucky. This was probably three weeks after surgery and pain was horrendous.
