So hysterectomy still not booked in with a date but not all bad as my bowels are getting checked at long last!

I managed to bring MRI forward from 26th to 17th. Worth checking for cancellations

2 weeks time 😬😬😬 literally not as long as i thought but going to get me in asap so i have the results for the hysterectomy to rule stuff out. Thats amazing! Hope all is well?

That’s good, try not to worry too much, mine came back clear for the CT colonoscopy but it does play a bit.

How is it for you this week?

I had covid test today for endoscopy on Saturday. They are still trying to rule out other things.

Endo secretary is going to chat with consultant next week, and get back to me. She was saying it might not be until end November as they are allowing three hours and need bowel surgeon around. I just don’t want to end up underweight and they say they can’t do it because of that.

Ohno at least there will be 2 surgeons to double check i wosh mine were that thorough

No keep your vitamins up etc have they recommended a complan or meal replacement or anything? its worring isn't it when you keep losing weight to be honest i dont notice mine but others around me do x

Not so good, you’ve a busier life than I’ve got at present, hope you’re managing to get some rest during the day.I think I notice because it doesn’t feel right. I’ve been trying to avoid gluten and dairy but doesn’t make much difference. Gastro guy said eat high calorie, took me four hours to get through a very nice Krsispy Kreme doughnut the other day 🤣, avoiding things has gone out the window this week!

I do not believe diet has anything to do with it after having tried this also. I dont blame you! I love Krispie cream doughnuts! Omg really?! I dont take long i just get full really easily. I think ive worked out i eat 1 meal a day which is better than nothing just really difficult at times i think the pain just really gets the better of me. My gp have started me on stomach tablets this week actually just because of my tablet increase x

Normally it would take about thirty seconds to eat one 🤣 without feeling sick!

I’m trying to eat a little more often, the little is sort of working.

Filled in an econsult last night to see if I could get a copy of the MRI from Saturday. GP texted me to say it’s not there yet but they’ll chase it up. He sent that before 8, that was a bit of a shock.

Is that omeprazole? I was on those when taking NSAIDs, didn’t do much for anything else, but will 🤞for you as they can help.

Had endoscopy today, nothing apart from tiny ulcer that he doesn’t think is anything, but took a biopsy. He was able to tell me the results of MRI for small bowel, nothing there apparently either. I suppose it’s down to gynae.

As I hadn’t eaten anything from yesterday evening, apart from a couple of squares of choc, wasn’t too bad up until tea time, actually felt hungry. Then ate a bit more...🤦‍♀️😂

Hi,

My colonoscopy was clear but then I had a mri with dye and it showed black spots that the consultant has said will be endo. I think endo only shows on colonoscopy if its breached through the bowel wall.

Thank you i had an mri last year and they saw what they needed to and called off the dye! I was fuming! Now the bowel troubles are indicating its on the bowel. I think they are just double checking the structure etc and to rule out the usual crohns etc but thank you for letting me know its something I can push for knowing they stopped it! Thank you! X
