Lovely Lindle could maybe ask you some questions and help advice. Hysterectomy is a big move and doesn't cure endo. Sorry your going through so much pain. How old are you could I ask have you children./ want children What stage endo do you have? X

General scans will often miss endo and unfortunately a hysterectomy isn't a treatment for endo unless there is disease in the uterus itself. It can sometimes be appropriate but only if all else has failed which would mean having had thorough excision of all endo first by an expert. There would have to be a medical reason for a hysterectomy and doing it as a 'blind' treatment for endo isn't one. It sounds like your consultant is probably a general gynaecologist - you need more thorough investigations by someone with a special interest in endo. There is a clear treatment path.

If you have the discharge note from your lap it might give some indication as to what stage you had and how well it was treated.

Hopefully admin on here can guide you but if you need more help please feel free to ask. x
