A&E - endo flare?

Hi ladies I hope you’re all keeping well. Just wanting some advice to see if anyone else has had similar experiences. I started to feel unwell Sunday with the usual dull aching pain in my legs, a bad headache which turned into a migraine, and I was really shivery and kept going hot and cold so I went to bed early. I ended up in A&E this morning with severe stabbing pains in my lower tummy and lower back which started in the night and got worse, like someone was twisting a hot knife around which came and went in sharp episodes. Diclofenac and cocodamol did nothing to help the pain at all. They did some blood tests which suggested an infection but an ultrasound has come back fine so I’ve been discharged. Background wise, I had a laparoscopy august 12th and was told nothing was found, but since then my Dr has said she thinks I do have endo because of my symptoms and history, and that the endo wasn’t found because I’ve been taking my pill with no breaks. Since my op I’ve decided to stop my pill to see what my true cycle is like and I’m a week late coming on. The A&E doctor thinks I may have a viral infection, but do you think maybe by symptoms are related to my period and the issues I get? Thanks for reading such a long post x

Could be, especially if GP thinks there is. Have they referred you to a specialist?

Something is definitely amiss and needs looking into though. It’s a struggle to keep going when it’s bad at times. Fill in the online consultation form on your GP website, you can list all your symptoms.

Hope you get it sorted soon. Take care.

Just as a note, My GP has referred me to gastro and some new diagnostic clinic (think that’s what he said) because I have continuous issues and gynaecologist doesn’t think it’s all endo related. There are different avenues. (They could just getting really p of with me going back 🤣)
