Hiya 🥰
Does anyone know if we can apply for DSA for uni?
I’m not sure if it falls under the relevant category as it’s obviously a long term and chronic condition, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had experience in this?
Thank you! X

Yes you can, I did. You can get disability support from the uni itself, like extra time in exams, flexible deadlines etc. And depending on how the condition affects you, you can get DSA funding for special equipment that you need to study, like tabletop laptop stands to help with your desk posture and software for the computer, printing allowance and things like that. Your uni should have disability advisors and they're usually really friendly and helpful in figuring out what you might need. Good luck xx
Great I’ll definitely get in touch with them, thank you for your help! ❤️
Hi Bean_123 and Violet159 - sorry I know this was a long time ago but I am hoping to start in masters in September and looking to see if I can qualify for DSA, did you both receive financial support through DSA? It says you can get up to 26K but that seems like a lot! Do you mind me asking what you were eligible for? Thanks
