Acupuncture for endo?

Has anyone tried acupuncture for Endo , and was it effective ? Any experiences and opinions appreciated , what symptoms did it help with or not , especially if it is any good for painful intercourse , thankyou 😊 x

I've just started acupuncture treatment - I have mild endometriosis and my right ovary has gotten stuck twice which resulted in me having two laps to free it. Pain started again around 6 weeks ago which resulted in another trip to the hospital - doctor said they can only offer pain relief or another op (and if ovary is stuck again, they have suggested removing it) As I don't want anymore surgery or to loose my ovary (ttc) I decided to give acupuncture a go before deciding on anything more drastic. After my first treatment I have noticed a huge difference in the pain (which is usually a constant ache in my lower back, pelvis and hip). Due back for second session at the weekend so fingers crossed it continues to help.

I also have very bad lower back pain , definitely think in going to give it a go , thanks x

Hi I tried acupuncture last year and my first period was worse than any other I have ever had..... However I contacted another clinic who I've started going to, they assured me that this is very common initially so to be prepared but hopefully once the first one is over then it should help, onto week three of acupuncture due period next week hopefully will be ok or even better pregnant!

Hi,

I had acupuncture done last year as my Endo was really bad, I had adhesions everything was stuck together. Nothing helped me. I had 5 sessions of acupuncture and it didn't help me at all. I had to have another operation to remove Endo and adhesions and to unstick my bowels. I'm still recovering from my operation.

Everyone responds to treatment differently, it may help some people or it may not help them.

Think I'm going to give it a go , such a shame it didn't work for my endo is only stage one and was excised six months ago but I'm still in a lot of pain and I'm willing to try anything , hope u find another solution x
