Hi!

Sorry to hear you vomit / feel nauseous during periods- if it helps, you’re not alone! I happen to vomit multiple times on the first day of menstruation and I make sure I drink lots of water, rest and try to make the day as stress free as possible work wise (when at school, took the time off but oh well). I also take the pill to help with regularity so at least I can anticipate to some degree when my bleed is happening, and thus when I’m going to throw up.

Sorry it’s not helpful, just one of those crappy endo related things!! Best of luck :)

To help the nausea - Try some natural cures ginger in food- Maybe a few biscuits good

not too many -but will control some of the sickness.

Keep to natural things if possible and I hope this will help you now and in the future.

Def talk to your GP and see if they can prescribe you something to stop the vomiting - I've used my prescription a couple of times and it helps SO MUCH.

In the mean time you could try sea sickness bands as well as ginger/mint tea and gin gins for nausea.

I make sure to eat a lot of ginger in the lead up to my period (if you're not keen on the taste you can get supplements). I really like it cos it helps with nausea but also with inflammation so I get less bloating too.

I really hope some of this helps and you get some relief!

Aw you poor thing, the bloating can be hell. I'm so sorry you're struggling with it rn!

Things that have helped me with the painful swelling are ginger and turmeric, as well as following an anti inflammatory diet. I'm sharing in case they can help you too xx

What is the anti inflammatory diet like? X

You basically want to cut down on (or completely cut out ) inflammatory foods such as sugar, dairy and gluten and red meats. Some people are really strict about it and can't have any of that stuff, while others just try to keep them at a minimum but have found they can tolerate a low level of inflammatory foods and it doesn't cause a flare. For some, it does nothing. It def worth a try as everyone's body is different.

For me personally it does work but it is hard to stick to! 😂 Sometimes you're sad and you just want to eat all the cake haha
