Hi girlies, just a quick one Iv recently became single and obviously not looking for anything for a while now but with the ticking time bomb I have in my womb I was debating having my eggs frozen as am 27 not in a relationship and don’t have any children so don’t want to wait and my eggs be useless in a few years.
I got diagnosed with endo when I was 21 and obviously thought I would have kids by this point, Iv had 2 surgeries and going to be having a 3rd next year so just wondering if anyone has looked into egg freezing.
Do we get it threw nhs or have to pay ?,
Thanks girlies xxxx

This is really interesting. I am 32 and like you thought I would have kids by now. My hubby is old fashioned and wanted the house and marriage before we started trying. We have been trying since 2016 and nothing. I have learnt from my tests that my egg count is lower that preferred for my age so in my opinion I would say if it’s something you can do seriously think about doing it, purely from the perspective of someone who would have thought about it if I had the choice of knowing my diagnosis earlier. Good luck xx
