Fluid found after hysterectomy

Morning ladies

I had a full abdominal hysterectomy in January but still been in a lot of pain doctor sent me for a scan which found some fluid but nothing else, I’ve now been referred for a CT scan, and referred back to gynaecologist to find out what’s going on. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem

Hi kay it sure my experience will help. My incision was vertical incision. I had a lot of swelling never seemed to be going down and felt like I was carrying a bowling ball. My op was 21st Jan so just bout 6months.long story short it's an incisional hernia pretty big one from belly button down length of incision. Ct scan picked it up hope you get answers it's v frustrating

Thank you for you reply my incision is my bikini line but I feel like I’m 9 months pregnant so hopefully the ct scan will give me more of an answer
