Hi all, just a quick question for those who have been diagnosed with endo..is the pain constant every day or just monthly at the time of period?
I had a lap done with a general gyne and he said my pain won't be endo its hormone related because the pain is only during my cycle. (Its severe to the point of fainting) i just thought obviously its each month as endo is bleeding at that time in places it shouldnt?
Confused...

Hey👋🏻 I think pain related to endo can be anytime. Mine is mostly effected at the end of my period and this is due to hormones building back up. But this is because I am now perimenopausal. when I was first diagnosed I was only ever in pain during a period because the endo is bleeding at the same time. Very painful periods are a classic symptom hence why we get sent to a gynaecologist for a laparoscopy. Not sure why you’ve been advised differently. Hope you get it all sorted. Xx😊
Every day for me though some days are fairly mild. Definitely worse when I ovulate and my actual bleed but I have days when I’m in agony and can’t associate it to anything in particular. Literally no pattern to mine or obvious triggers- it just comes and goes as it pleases!
