Laparoscopy tiredness afterwards. How long does this go on for?

So I had my lap on Monday. First one. I was ok afterwards. Bit sore but yesterday morning I woke up so tired I could barely keep my eyes open. Slept a lot yesterday and today I still feel the same. Sleep doesn’t seem to be doing much.

Hey there

General anaesthetic takes a while to get over! It’s normal to feel exhausted for several days afterwards. Your body has been through a lot, and needs time to recover too! Try to sleep when you need to and take care of yourself.

It will be the General Anesthetic. It generally takes me 3 to 4 days to feel semi normal afterwards. Just rest up and doze when required. 🙂
