Pain will vary enormously. I’ve probably had it for years, had bad periods, but managed.
I’d say discuss it thoroughly with consultant. If it’s showing on MRI that could mean it’s deep.
I’m now in a position that it’s chronic and nearly blocking colon, from that perspective it might not be best to leave it, I am still learning though. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
Have you consulted with only one doctor? If you have doubts, try to redo your tests and go to another clinic. Having several conclusions may help you to avoid false results. We have been to 2 doctors before we found the right one. The first dr told us that everything was alright and another one told the opposite. Only the current doctor who gave us hope and was able to explain what is wrong and what to do.
