I've just been told I have PCOS, and still have investigation in to have Endo as well.
I had a phone call from my GP to tell me that I have polycystic ovary and that I would be hard for me to have children. But no other information and I'm kind of scared shocked and confused all in one .
The annoying part it is taken 3 year to just get this one part I have a scan a two years ago which was clear ?
Does it just happen ?
I'm so confused and if I have Endo as well does that make it harder for me to have children?
Will they keep looking in to my signs of Endo now ive had some kind of diagnosis? Or will they just brush it off like they have for the last 3 years ?
Sorry I have so many unanswered question

Hi lovely. I’ve got PCOS as well - and Adenomyosis. Just because they’ve said you have polycystic ovaries, doesn’t mean you can’t have kids. Many ladies have it and can conceive naturally.
Now, the important thing you need to do is KEEP PUSHING. Do not let them brush your symptoms under the rug because of PCOS. Polycystic ovaries cannot cause the same symptoms you experience with Endo. Yes, it can cause pain but only if you have a cyst of significant size. The small cysts that you have cannot cause massive amounts of pain. Endo, however, can.
Ultimately you know your body best. I’m 20 and have been fighting against doctors since I was 13 to be listened to. Despite my Adeno diagnosis, I’m still fighting to be heard because my now ex-consultant refused to see anything was wrong with me, or help me.
Hi , thank you for taking the time to reply, its good hear that it not going to be impossible for me to have children . I completely agree , it is so bad how much we have to push to be heard. And I'm sorry you have had to go though so much of a fight and I hope you get some where with them . And like you said we know are body's best !
