Hey, so i get this basically all the time, i am a rare case, pain killers do absolutely nothing for me sadly. Generally i do know prescription strength anti inflammatory meds like neproxen can make a difference. What have you tried so far? Hope it eases up x

Hi, firstly I'm so sorry you're going through this and can't seem to get help. I'm wondering if you've heard of Nancy's Nook on facebook? It's a page for education about the range of possible symptoms, locations of endo, and provides information about the various treatment options so you can be better informed and make the best choices for yourself. It's education/reading only (i.e. it isn't a support or discussion group - posts are strictly limited to questions that aren't already answered in the units of educational material supplied). Hope this is in some way useful, and that you find something that works soon. Sadly, we seem to have to educate ourselves so we can access the right doctors and the treatment we need x

I have some easing through physiotherapy, that combined with neproxen helped but not gone away.

Do you have any back pain ? If not some painkillers work better than others. Also Ibruffen is a good anti-inflammatory. I was on this for many years, but they took me off it because I suffer from rectal bleeding. Some times it is trial and error with medication. Or it could be that you need a stronger dose of painkillers. But if it does not ease up get back to your doctor.

Hi there. I noticed your post says 'post period' - mine has just ended, short and heavy like normal, but today after breakfast I got sudden debilitating pain very low, like a clamp across the top of my pubic bone and radiating out. Lasted all day, not going away. I found Anadin Extra plus Naproxen took the edge off. But have also got a mains heat pack I can strap around me, and that's helped at bedtime. You can buy them online.

Im sorry You’re having this pain. I have worsened pain after my period as well. You could try taking nsaids two weeks prior to your period starting at ovulation & take them everyday every 8hrs (have to tried Voltaren,? Ketoprofen?) then every 4-6hrs take Tylenol in between. Question: Can you take something like Vicodin or Tylenol 3 for a few days? There’s no need for you to be suffering like this every month, it’s torturous. Nsaids only do but so much, honestly. It is not a bad thing or a wrong thing to ask for adequate pain relief for YOU. I’m sorry that I don’t know, but have you had any surgery yet? Take any medications for ENDO: Orilissa is new & I used it after my third surgery. Hope you feel better soon & don’t forget a heating pad.
