Hi everyone, Ive been struggling with severe lower abdominal pain from Monday,it just gets worse daily. My Abdo just raises , I feel bloated and can feel some masses on my lower right and left side, a CT report stated Complex ovarian Cysts consisting of blood . Could this pain be related to the ovarian cysts , im very feverish and vomiting, pains when walking. I'm only going to be admitted on Sunday for surgery on Monday.

Has anyone encountered such? Please advice,I don't know what to do in the meantime

You need to go to A&E. I went to the hospital with severe pelvic and back pain and they suspect it’s due to an ovarian cyst and I’m waiting referral for an ultrasound. I was told to go back immediately if I develop vomiting or temperature. Good luck x

Thank you so much for the advance Unhappy215.. I've been trying to keep strong and counting a day only but it's just so unbearable affecting my groin and leg too while trying to walk.. It's just not settling down.

Thanks, tons of hugs

Hi, sorry your in so much pain, the pain could be caused by a ruptured cyst, I had this a couple of years ago and ended up in A&E and on Morphine, might be worth speaking to your gp or specialist and see what they say, are you taking any meds? If not might be worth asking for something to help untill you have surgery, hope your surgery goes well on monday and you can get the pain sorted xx

Hey Pureunicorn, thanks alot for the reply and care...Ive been on pain meds including tramal that they gave me for the two weeks while in the wait...They have also taught me a bit about them rupturing...They called it an ovarian torsion, I don't know what happened to me. It was just all so sudden

Agree with others - you need clinical attention now. Pain is common with blood cysts, but the fever and vomiting could indicate an infection (the old blood in the cysts are ideal breeding ground for bacteria - I had this, and it turned into an abscess). You don't need me telling you the dangers or an untreated infection. A blood test at the hospital can show if you have an infection.

Hey Boxclever, thanks tons for the advice and care....It's been just unusual and strange, happening suddenly , the pain, couldn't even sleep lastnight. I was just trying to put myself together and be strong till the Operation but it's just getting out of hand.

I hope I'll be ok after this, it's so stressful
