After 6 years i was finally diagnosed and had the endo surgery last year in July. I felt better for a few weeks after the surgery however, after 7 weeks i started to have a lot of pain and i was unable to sit up even for 4 hr straight. Each time i eat i', in so much pain that i sometimes feel i will literally faint and also my stomach since the surgery is so big...i wake up like i'm 7 months pregnant and go to bed like i'm in 9 months....I had an appointment with the endo specialist but was postponed because of the covid and now i'm waiting to see when they will reschedule. Please anybody had experienced anything like this after the surgery? Is completely destroying my life...i cannot even sit up for more than 2-3 hr without been in horrible pain and now i only eat 1 time a day because of the pain is causing me.

Hi

Similar issues, I find it difficult to sit in a normal for any length of time and eating is uncomfortable. The pain I get is mainly due to constipation and bowels not working. Laxido has worked well for this. Tried not take Friday, which was ok until yesterday afternoon, took two with a gap in between, this worked, but ended up taking some morphine.

If you haven’t spoken to GP, I’d recommend doing so ASAP. I was given this at out of hours by GP who was also a gynaecologist.

Hi! I’m sorry you’re going through this, it really is the worst ☹️

I had my surgery in December just past, and the pain has recently started coming back just as bad (if not worse) than before I was diagnosed

I’ve recently been informed that the endo is back and that perhaps it has regrown from pieces that weren’t removed during the first lap.

My advice would be to call your doctor, and stay on at them as much as possible. It took a few appointments before they’d consider the notion that my endo could be back so soon, but lo and behold, after a few weeks of getting on at them I was finally re-referred.

I hope you manage to find a way to ease the symptoms in the meantime however as what you’re experiencing sounds unbearable. My love to you❤️

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this! I had my first lap in October last year and was diagnosed with endo and they ablated some and excised some. This was at an endo specialist centre. Pain is worse now than ever. I have had to be referred back through my GP and have an appointment in June. Definitely speak to your GP. Although I had to go through months of them telling me it might be a water infection before they listened again and referred me. X

Yeah I'm currently waiting for a Laparoscopy, I've been told for so long it's water infections too, it's so frustrating. I've had antibiotics after antibiotics and they work a little but as soon as I have come off them I'm back in pain again :( xx
