Relief ideas

Hi ladies,

While there is absolutely no progress for us during these times, I’ve been using a couple of things to help with the pain. Obviously there’s the usual amount of painkillers and hot water bottles but I’ve found it helps to lay on this spiky ball on the floor (under the affected area) - seems to relieve the pain for a little bit (I have suspected endo on my bowel on the right)

A friend also recommended wearing kinesiology tape , across the area , 4 strips stuck on in the shape of a noughts and crosses board. It’s the first week I’ve tried the tape so I can’t definitely confirm that it helped, but I felt as though the pain lessened during the day and my friend swears by it. Stay strong ladies x

I have some tape, (somewhere) but not entirely sure where to put it. The whole abdominal area is a killer at present. Which area are you using the criss cross?

Many thanks for the tip.

I have it on the back because that’s where my pain is- I’m not sure how much it worked but worth a try x

Have to dig it out and experiment. I’ll have to double check how the abdominal muscles lay. I can do this for CPD points as well.

Could be interesting! 😂

These are good suggestions. I often place my hot water bottle when I lay in bed underneath my buttocks to help with the pain and also because it feels like the blood circulation is not working as feeling cold. I may try the kine tapes. 😊
