The last few months ive been suffering with stomach pain so bad that I've had to go ane twice both times they have sent me on my way and said I was fine, the pain in so bad that I feel like I've been stabbed. But they won't listen to me . This can't be normal? As soon as I say I'm under the gyno they brush it as woman problem (even tho I'm not on my period ). I try to insure the pain doesn't affect my work but last night it got so bad I had to go home. Even with everything going on I felt like I was dying so I called 111 as I didn't wanna go to hospital with the covid 19 risk. But was told to go as it they where worried. And was again sent on my way surely this isn't right .

Sorry to hear you’re having such a rubbish time. I found keeping a pain/symptom diary, which was visual really helped me and the consultant. Once I kept this, and they saw how bad I was they agreed a lap x
It gives you a horrible feeling when this happens, and it shouldn’t. If you can, you need to keep going back, not easy, it’s the only way they’ll take you seriously.
As been mentioned, notes are very useful, black and white and literally give them a copy.
I did this when I saw the consultant had such a bad time with GP I’d never have got the info across.
