Hello, I'm curious what the time frame is between eating a food that usually causes a flare up and the actual flare. I am trying to see what foods may by triggering me. Does the flare usually happen the same day or the day after for most of you who track this? Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

Flare ups triggered by foods?
Hi. My flare ups usually happen a few hours after eating a food I should not, such as normal bread, chocolate. I have put myself on an exclusion diet since May last year that excludes:gluten, dairy, soya, caffeine, chocolate, dry beans (kidney beans), brown rice, tomato purée, hot spices. It has helped reducing the pain, bloating, diarrhoea. I also take magnesium glycenate, Vitamin D, iron to support my immune system. All these have reduced the flare ups, although it still happens. I hope you find what works for you. Stay safe.
I find that if I eat too large a meal I find I am in more pain whereas smaller portions have made all the difference.
I have to have a gluten free diet due to having IBS so I don’t know how this differs as I have been on that diet longer than I have had endometriosis.
I have been doing yoga recently and did this after I ate yesterday and found that the light stretching really helped.
Hope you find something that works for you!
Hi, I get mine as soon as I finish the meal or the snack I ate. And straight away I note it down on my phone notepad, the list of foods that triggered a pain. That way I am a little cautious next time and would attempt to eat it again but in a different form, such as cooked or boiled. I have heard a lot about gluten free diet but gluten free products are very expensive. I also drink yakult to help me, I drink this before bed or in the morning.
