My endometriosis gives me the worst hip and lower back pain. I was 99% convinced it was a joint or muscular problem. I went to my GP who referred me for physio and it did nothing. Only now with the Mirena coil I have no pain in my hip at all! 100% I believe it causes pain to be felt in joints. Deep heat cream used to help a little. Maybe keep a diary of when your muscle and joint pain flares up and what exercise you’ve done that day for example and what your Endo symptoms have been like that day? See if there’s a pattern?

I get it mostly in my legs and arms which is so weird and it comes and goes

I never get it in my arms I admit. But when I got it in my hips and legs. It was real deep throbbing pain. Like what I used to call ‘growing pain’ as a child!

Yeah that’s how I’d describe it. It’s a pain literally 🤦🏽‍♀️

There would be days I was literally dragging my leg around the shop, leaning on the pram where my hip would hurt so much and I never knew endometriosis had the ability to affect my joints in such a way!

Oh dear, keep an eye on it. Don’t be afraid to seek medical advice despite the virus. Make yourself a hot water bottle and a warm cup of tea, that’s my first go to at first sign of pain!

I’m on the pill and have been for 9 months haven’t had any pain since starting it until last month🤦🏽‍♀️ starting to give up . At this rate I will turn into a cup of tea cuz of the amount I been drinking 😂

Oh bless you! Maybe your body is just having a bit of a one off. I’m not bleeding with my coil however I’m getting the odd weird few days where my body is really out of sync. I’ve had sharp pains in my groin and lower back!
