Hello ladies,

Finally after what feels like a life time I can finally start ivf very soo.

I have mild - moderate endometriosis and I was diagnosed when I was 18.

I’m feeling excited and anxious about it all. I still have cysts on my overies.

Has anyone been through anything similar?

❤️

hi. Hope you're keeping well. I think ivf can range but for us it was a surprisingly positive experience . I had a small cyst ( had surgery the year before to remove large cysts) and they very carefully monitored it as I have history of ruptured cysts. I was expecting the medication to make me feel awful / set Endo pain off but other than being a bit uncomfortable around my ovaries I was fine. We only told a few people and tried to take a relaxed view on it, I purposely made sure I didn't have a busy few weeks and rested as much as I could. We also found the staff brilliant, very caring and full of useful information. We were very lucky and against the odds are little miracle happened on the first round. Hope it all goes ok and feel free to message if you want to 😊. Xx

Oh that’s positive then! I have a few small cysts on my left overy and it is behind my uterus, but the right one is ok so hopefully they will be able to use the right overy during treatment.

I think I’m going to take time off work to relax as my job is quite stressful and fast pace.

Awh thank you ❤️

do you know what type of cysts they are? Yes taking time off might be good, we also found we had quite a few appointments with scans so makes it less to explain if work don't know. They might be able to use the left side, we had expected only one side to work as my right ovary was reconstructed during surgery in 2017 but it responded well. I was following the Endo diet at the time too. Xx

Erm they just normally says endometronias I think...

My manager is quite supportive and knows what I’m going through. Im hoping they might be able to use the left side, my consultant said it might drop down once I start the injections What the endo diet? Xx
