Anxiety and Endometriosis.

Hi all.

So I'm currently awaiting a Laparoscopy. I've had my pre assessment. I've previously had a Laparoscopy in March last year which revealed nothing, and I was discharged by Gynae. I then had a Pelvic MRI in September which revealed a very different picture. My Gynaecologist agreed best way forward was another Diagnostic Laparoscopy with treatment of Endometriosis. I'm currently on Rigevidon in the meantime. I've been back and forth to the GP a few times and I know my GP has wrote to the Gynaecologist chasing up my Laparoscopy as my symptoms are just getting worse and I'm in more and more pain daily. I saw my Gynae in December who wrote a letter to the GP stating what was said at Consultation, and what the plan was going forward etc. I've seen this letter, as far as I'm aware it's now just a case of waiting for the Laparoscopy date. I had a letter through the post this morning saying that the GP has received the letter from the Gynaecology department and wishes to discuss it with me. I'm now worried that the Gynaecologist has cancelled my Laparoscopy for no reason. 😣😔 They don't have any appointments left today so will need to try and get one tomorrow. My question is can they just cancel a Laparoscopy for no reason, I can't think what else they would need to write to my GP for? 😣 Can anyone put my mind at rest? I'm in Scotland. Thanks. X
