Pop pill and bleeding heavy ......

Hey

I just hoping someone has some knowledge of this happening to them and to put my mind at rest....

So i was put on degesterol pop pill about three weeks ago due to peri menopause constantly bleeding( had all the tests ie smear and bloods there all ok) but i came on normal day about week ago and i have not stopped bleeding since and today seems even heavier and i have quite bad pain ( not like my normal crippling endo pain just period pain).

What should i do? Is this normal with this pill and just wait it out? I never bleed this long and this heavy so just want to know if any of u ladies can tell me it normal and it will get better..... coz at mo im laying here with ice on my belly and i have to go to work in a hour and i cant see that happening

Hi, the last time I tried progesterone only pill this happened to me. I had to stop after a month the bleeding got so bad and painful. It was horrendous. You could try tranexamic acid for the heaviness but that didn’t help me out.

Oh it a nightmare... i have not been on a pill for about 12 years and that was a combined pill so i have no idea whats normal..

Spoke to dr and she said it normal with this pill to take 3 months or so to settle ...

So she gave me a perscription of mefanamic acid and i have take one this morning and it seems to have worked pretty quickly so made it to work... 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

Things us women have to put up with...

I will stick with it for another 2 months like said and hope it sorts itself out as other then the non stop bleeding i have felt alot better on it...
