Nerves are kicking in now :(

Just had a call from the hospital to advise on what to take in etc on Friday and was advised I am the first one down at 8.15. My nerves have well and truly kicked in now. my stomach is churning. I can't wait to wake up and it all finally be over after years of being in pain. I just hope it all goes well and there are no other matters to deal with like last time. Positive thoughts are a must :)

I hope it goes well for you. Top tips:

1)it feels like nothing much is happening and then suddenly there’s s flurry of activity and before you know it you’re in or you’re waiting again. Take a book/magazine/distraction that suits lots of small interruptions.

2) have some clothing you can leave in with no/unrestrictive waistband as your bellybutton will probably be the tenderest part.

3) you’re in the hands of experts who will do their best for you. Don’t be afraid to ask them about anything you don’t understand or tell them if you’re afraid.

Good luck!
