Last period was September 2018. Been prescribed provera again for the 3rd time. Has it not worked for anyone else? (PCOS)

I’ve been under the gynaecologist team since March this year. I haven’t had a period since September 2018. I was diagnosed with PCOS this year after scans. I was then prescribed provera for 11 days to bring on a period. That failed to work so I was given the same dose for 21 days. It still didn’t work so I’ve been told to go on them again for another 21 days at the same dose. I need to bleed to have a scan on my tubes and pelvic area. I just feel as if I’m not getting anywhere. Has it always worked for others? Also has anyone else been this long without a period? I’ve had tests for menopause and they’ve come back fine. I’m not overweight and I’m 27 years old.
