anybody here on visannette / dienogest?

I've scrolled down the message board but can't seem to find this topic, apologies if it's already been discussed!

I was diagnosed with endo in October (after suspecting I had it for about a year) and had a laparoscopy earlier this month. The surgeon removed as much as she could but had to leave some as it was too attached to my ovary and she didn't want to burn it.

The next stage was to start dienogest once my period started, which was yesterday. I took my first pill mid-morning, and then woke up at 3:30 in the morning with extreme nausea. From 3:30 til 9:30 I vomited on average once an hour, as well as having extreme diarrhoea (sorry to be graphic). At the moment I've thrown up all the liquids I've tried to drink, and waiting for my Dr to get back to me.

Nausea is listed as a common side effect of this drug but this all seems very extreme?? Has anyone here had a similar experience? Very grateful for some advice
