Advice about Prostrap

Hi!

I have had diagnosed Endo for almost 20 years. In recent years my symptoms have been manageable but the last few months it has come back in style!

I was admitted on Monday with severe pain. I was due on that day. After a couple of days of investigations and no other cause found it was put down to endo and I was discharged with painkillers.

The consultant was great and recommended I start having injections to induce menopause. I had the first of these before I was discharged.

Since then I’ve still not had my period. I’m still in horrendous pain. I was too drowsy in hospital to ask the right questions and I really am in the dark as to what to expect. Can it stop my period straight away??? What other reason might there be for not coming on? I’m defo not pregnant as they checked in A&E!

Thanks in advance

Hallo, yes it can stop your period straight away. Other people may get breakthrough bleeding. Keep an eye out for menopausal symptoms (hot flushes, etc which is normal) or strong feelings of depression (not normal), if you get the latter, then speak to your consultant. The dose/symptoms information should be online if you google it.
